The activities of a mechatronic technician are related to the areas of mechanicals, electrical, electronics, computers, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers. Graduates of this programme can become technical engineers or technicians in the fields of power systems, data communication, service and maintenance of electrical and electronic appliances, and design of embedded systems and applications.
Approved by the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK), this two-year internal course by Kolej WIT is phased over three levels where students are mostly given hands-on training at the institution.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum SRP/ PMR/ JM2 or other equivalent qualification recognised by the college senate
- At least 15 years of age, and able to read, write and comprehend Bahasa Malaysia language
