The activities of an automobile technician are related to motor vehicle equipments such as gear boxes, brakes, car wirings, petrol and diesel engines, and the like. Graduates of this programme can find careers as Automobile Engineers or Technicians for the monitoring, supervision, and designing and control of automobile equipment production processes in the fields of vehicle technology and manufacturing.
Approved by the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK), this two-year internal course by Kolej WIT is phased over three levels where students are given mostly hands-on training at the institution.
Due to the college's strong affiliations with many public and private sectors, most Kolej WIT's Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering graduates have been known to secure jobs upon graduation.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum SRP/ PMR/ JM2 or other equivalent qualification recognised by the college senate
- At least 15 years of age, and able to read, write and comprehend Bahasa Malaysia language
