Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Kolej WIT's Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a two-and-half-year (2 ½) programme that trains students in both theory and practical learning to become Mechanical Engineers for research, development, designing and manufacturing engines, machines, and other mechanical devices used in various industries.

Aside from working on power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, Mechanical Engineers also develop power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, and industrial production equipments, among others.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) credits in any subject in SPM/ SPMV/ SM2/ O-Levels, with at least a pass in Science and Mathematics or;
  • Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the college senate
