Kolej WIT's IT Department was set up to manage the college's entire computerised system and help other departments to perform their duties with more ease and efficiency. The department works to develop a powerful data bank, based on data generated from authentic college data, for other departments to consume to cope with the growing number of students. Aside from maintaining the computerised Local Area Network and Wide Area Network between the college's system and International Network, the department also develops and implements software such as Student Records System and Spam Protection System within Kolej WIT.

At the end of a five-year strategic planning period, the IT Department will enhance the level teaching and research, planning, management and effective evaluation via analytical decision-making packages..

Mission

To assist the college to carry out its mandate in the deregulated Kolej WIT System by enabling the Universities and Colleges to reap and deliver the benefits offered by the information revolution.
